The sticky surface comes from DHS, the specialist for sticky surfaces.

The two sponges (orange and blue) are a Japanese development.

The orange sponge has a hardness of 45° the blue sponge has a hardness of 50°.

Characteristics of the rubbers

The sponges have hardly any own catapult, but develop their power from the arm movement. This makes the rubbers easy to control in the short-short game and also when blocking, since the ball is hardly catapulted out of the rubber.

However, when the arm movement is pulled through to topspin, the rubbers develop high speed and, due to the sticky surface, insane rotation. Undercut can also be generated very well.

Choosing the right Table Tennis rubber:

This makes the Hurricane Pro III Turbo orange a bit easier to play, as the slightly softer sponge is a bit more forgiving. With the Hurricane III Pro Turbo blue you should have a good positional game, because it is not as forgiving. But it has enormous power and you reach an insane rotation speed.
