Hinoki wood grows slowly and becomes harder than other softwoods. This gives the Table Tennis blades that are built with Hinoki veneers a very special feel. The Septear is from 7 layer of Kiso Hinoki, it has a wonderful touch therefor the control is high, but the power ist still enough to make hard Topspin with high rotation and speed.

The Septear Feel on the other hand is a real offensive blade. It consists of 7 Hinoki veneers and 2 FE Carbon layers.

Due to the positive characteristics of the Kiso Hinoki wood, however, all Table Tennis blades of the Nittaku Septear series are good to play, The blades are characterized by a slightly higher trajectory and have a slightly longer ball contact time. This makes it easier to play topspin balls with high rotational speeds. Thus, the loss of rotation can be compensated somewhat by the plastic balls.
