Nittaku Sound Ball – Audible Table Tennis Ball for Inclusive Sport

The Nittaku Sound Ball was specially developed for sound table tennis for blind and visually impaired players, as well as inclusive sports. Four small metal balls inside produce a clearly audible sound as the ball rolls. This allows players with visual impairments to track its movement and direction by sound.

Key Features

• Audible table tennis ball: Four integrated metal balls produce a sound as the ball rolls.

• For blind and visually impaired players: Helps players locate the ball by sound at the table.

• Versatile: Suitable for sound table tennis and the inclusive team sport Takkyu Volley (table tennis volleyball).

• Officially approved: Approved by the Japan Para-Sports Association.

• Made in Japan: Orange plastic ball, 40 mm in diameter, available in a convenient pack of three.

Table Tennis Where Hearing Makes the Difference

Unlike conventional table tennis, the Nittaku Sound Ball is played by rolling it across the tabletop and under the net. The rolling sound helps players locate the ball and react in time.

The Nittaku Sound Ball is therefore well suited to inclusive club and school sport, disability sport and specialist table tennis activities for people with visual impairments.
