The rubbers in the HURRICANE range are ideal for attacking players, allowing aggressive topspins with precision and control.
Both have tacky topsheets, making them particularly well suited to plastic balls.
HURRICANE 2 and 3 differ mainly in hardness.
The HURRICANE 2 feels slightly harder than the HURRICANE 3 – its topspins are highly controlled, with a curved trajectory that is not quite as high as with the HURRICANE 3.
Against backspin and in counter-topspin rallies, the HURRICANE 2 can produce very powerful shots. You really notice its potential when you strike a counter-topspin cleanly.
The HURRICANE 3 feels slightly softer, with excellent control and a relatively high, arcing topspin trajectory. Chinese star Wang Liqin, for example, has played with the HURRICANE 3.
