Our equipment recommendation for offensive players who want more confidence in their backhand
This recommendation is intended for offensive players whose forehand is already consistent and who want more confidence on their backhand. The FASTARC C-1 supports a powerful topspin game on the forehand, while the BLASTAC is specifically designed to offer more control and forgiveness on the backhand.
This bundle includes:
Blade: ACOUSTIC G Revision
Forehand rubbers: FASTARC C-1
Backhand rubber: BLASTAC
Do you like to play an aggressive game, but feel like your backhand isn't as reliable as your forehand? In that case, a combination of materials can help give you more control without having to give up your offensive playing style.
This material is a good fit for you if you:
✅ you play an aggressive game and want to improve the consistency of your backhand
✅ You often score points with your forehand, but make unnecessary errors on your backhand
✅ You're looking for a blade that makes the ball distinctly noticeable and gives you feedback on the point of contact
✅ you want a forehand rubber that makes it easy to hit topspins
✅ value a balanced combination of speed and control
This might not be the right fit for you if:
❌ prefer a very firm and direct feel
❌ you want to optimize your game for top speed with as few compromises as possible
❌ you're still a beginner
Game Features
Blade:
The ACOUSTIC G-REVISION forms the foundation of this bundle. Its springy feel makes it easier for many players to control the ball. This makes it easier for many players to better gauge the distance and direction of their shots.
Forehand rubber:
On the forehand, the FASTARC C-1 complements these characteristics very well. Its grippy surface makes it easier to hit topspins with plenty of spin. At the same time, the pronounced catapult effect helps you accelerate the ball, so you don’t have to use as much power. This combination works especially well if you want to open the rally with a confident first topspin that still packs a punch.
Backhand rubber:
The BLASTAC is deliberately used for the backhand. Compared to the FASTARC C-1 , it generates less inherent catapult effect. As a result, the ball bounces off the racket in a more controlled manner, which offers greater confidence—especially on backhand topspins, blocks, and active counterattacks. Minor inaccuracies in the contact point have less of an impact than with more dynamic rubbers. As a result, it brings an incredible amount of control and reliability to your backhand game.
This combination is therefore not intended for players who want to generate as much speed as possible on every side. Instead, it supports an offensive style of play in which reliability and consistency play an important role.
Who is it for?
This bundle is particularly well-suited for experienced offensive players whose forehand is already reliable but who make more errors on their backhand or would like to feel more confident with it. If you want to play offensively without constantly feeling like your backhand is your Achilles’ heel, this equipment recommendation is a good fit for your game.
Who is this not really for?
If your backhand is already your strongest weapon, or if you deliberately play with rubbers that are as hard and direct as possible, you probably won't need the extra control offered by the BLASTAC. Even very aggressive players looking for maximum topspin will find this combination too tame for their needs.
What sponge thickness should I choose?
You can adjust the rubber to suit your skill level. The thicker the sponge, the more speed and spin the rubber generates. The catapult effect also increases with sponge thickness. Thinner sponge thicknesses, on the other hand, give you more control.
If you're already a confident player and want to get as much speed and spin out of your equipment as possible, we recommend both rubbers in the 2.0 mm thickness.
If you want a little more control and are willing to sacrifice some speed in exchange—choose the 1.8 mm sponge.
The BLASTAC, in particular, offers a very stable feel across all sponge thicknesses. You can choose based on how much speed and spin you want.
Conclusion
This bundle is designed for offensive players whose forehand is already reliable but who want more confidence on their backhand. If you want to maintain your offensive game while reducing unnecessary backhand errors, this combination is a great choice.
