Nittaku S-CZ - controlled offensive blade with a large sweetspot
The Nittaku S-CZ from the S series is a controlled offensive blade (OFF) for players who want to build up pressure without losing control. It is aimed at all those for whom classic OFF blades are too fast, but pure all-round blades do not offer enough penetrating power.
Under the spruce face veneer is a Zylon carbon fleece, which is not as extremely stiff as classic carbon fiber. As a result, the blade remains flexible and easy to control.
The ball contact feels clear and precise without being hard or unstable. This is precisely the strength of the S-CZ: speed, but controlled.
The carbon fleece noticeably enlarges the sweet spot and ensures that even balls that are not hit perfectly remain stable. The ball impact point is reported back to the hand very directly, which makes placement easier and gives confidence in open play.
In play, the S-CZ is an OFF blade for controlled offense: plenty of spin potential, clean trajectories and sufficient speed. Ideal for variable topspin, controlled blocking and safe build-up play in the half-distance.
